On 6 July 2019, Emma Kirkby DBE led the Kellie Consort in a public masterclass on the music of Henry Purcell.

The Kellie Consort is made up of outstandingly talented young singers and instrumentalists, with a connection to Scotland, who wish to develop their skills in Baroque performance practice to the highest level. It takes its name from the Scottish composer Thomas Erskine, 6th Earl of Kellie (1732-1781).
